We left Darwin early to get on the road, drove to Katherine and headed east on the Victoria Highway. We almost put 1000km’s on the poor little van this day but we had places to be, particularly the west coast! In the lonely planet book we have it said that Wyndham has a Five river lookout so we figured it would be nice and high with some nice wind and it was! Even though it wasn’t enough to keep the mozzies away we had a comfy sleep!
