We stopped at lake Matheson, the most photographed lake in all of NZ. It was a little windy so we never got the mirror effect but we still took photo’s of it! Haha, we just took pictures of the perfect postcards and said it was calm! We stopped at “Thunder Creek Falls”, it was a nice waterfall. There had been talk from the others of staying at Lake Wanaka and when we arrived it was hard to say no, the weather was just beautiful! After we checked in Jamie and I headed straight down to the lake to go for a swim. It was the first time I’ve ever swam with snow capped mountains in the back round, absolutely stunning! We got some great pics doing crazy jumps off the floating dock! We all sunbaked after and I went for walk around a bit of the lake. Later that night we went to “Paradiso Theatre”, where you order food and eat it while you watch the movie on comfy sofa’s and at halftime there’s fresh out of the oven cookies and homemade ice cream! The only problem was the movie we saw, “In Time”, with Justin Timberlake. The worst movie I have EVER seen, a total waste of two hours of my life I will never get back. Well, we did laugh quite a bit at how terrible and ridicules it was!
