Back to perth for 3 days

Since I left Canada I have gained over 15lbs!!! I know I have to start exercising and eating well again and after talking to my Grandma on the phone after she seen the pics I sent them, and her saying “you look FAT!!!” did it for me. So after buying some healthy food at the store I went to the gym and for a jog up to Kings Park. Every one said I have to up there to have a beautiful lookout over the city. By the time I got to “Jacobs Ladder”, like 250 stairs up the side of the hill, I was already tuckered out but I had to keep on going. On top off the hill at Kings Park there is a great military monument besides the botanic garden. I was way to tried to go through the garden, plus it was getting dark so I decided to come back the day after next because I was planning on going to the beach tomorrow. I slowly made my way back to the hostel with my very sore body and had a well deserved rest

Clydesdale Dining!!!

I did some more slashing, hit some more wire, broke a part of the tractor, and then ran out of fuel!!! So I called it and walked back to the house to get ready for dinner. Finally I had a reason to wear my “formal” outfit that I had to pack in my backpack! Taking up valuable space I just don’t have. Still not quite sure what exactly what we were doing tonight I was pleasantly surprised to see we were actually having dinner on the horse drawn carriage!!! It was a magnificent dinning room for 16 people being pulled behind two Clydesdale horses, and even better I was sitting with 3 beautiful woman!!! We had a great 3 course meal and lots of laughs, with all the people of Fremantle staring and waiving at us as we rode by, it was awesome, we felt like royalty or high rollers.(Except for the blue Esky full of champaign on the back of the carriage). After dinner we all went to a bar named “Bennies” where Michael kept on buying drinks for everyone. We danced it up and had a great time then called it a night.

Tractor Slashing

Mike had me wake up around 6:15 and we put a slasher behind the tractor and showed me what paddocks needed to be done, said go back to bed and then said “Oh yeah, there’s a guy coming with 75 bails of hay you have to stack at 8:30” haha. Anyway I piled the hay and got to slashing which was a little different that anything I’ve done before, pulling a gigantic lawnmower be hide cutting down all the weeds and shrubs in the paddocks. Everything was just fine until I ran over a electric fence wire hidden in the weeds and wrapped a couple yards of wire around the blade, so I cut it all off and called it a day.

Bucked off a Horse named Tango!!!

Mike showed me a couple of jobs before he went to work and mentioned on Saturday they were going to Fremantle for dinner and a horse drawn carriage ride. He asked if I wanted to come and ask me to work a little more each day to cover the $150 price for dinner and my drinks for the night, so that was great and I enjoyed using the tractor anyway. So for three days in a row I operated the tractor which was great work to do being helpxer instead of cutting grass or whatnot, although my left knee was a little sore from using a awkwardly placed clutch for three days.  After we were done for the day, Emma and I went for a ride on Tommy and Tango. I started on  Tommy and almost lost it a few times, I think, due to us using jumping saddles!!! So I had this great idea to switch horses and I started to gallop a little and all of a sudden he just stopped!!! and I went flying over his head and right into the dirt head first! I wasn’t going to wear a helmet either, but Emma told me I had to before we left and i a good thing I wore it cause I was seeing stars after my fall.
